{"id":8277,"date":"2021-11-02T14:39:18","date_gmt":"2021-11-02T18:39:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brunelimmigration.com\/?p=8277"},"modified":"2022-03-07T21:10:55","modified_gmt":"2022-03-07T20:10:55","slug":"le-mois-doctobre-en-immigration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brunelimmigration.com\/blog\/en\/2021\/11\/02\/le-mois-doctobre-en-immigration\/","title":{"rendered":"OCTOBER IN IMMIGRATION"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Proof of vaccination for travel in Canada<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>As of October 30, 2021, all travelers 12 years of age and older departing from Canadian airports, and travelers on VIA Rail and Rocky Mountaineer trains, will be required to be fully vaccinated in order to travel. There will be a short transition period where they will be able to travel if they show a valid COVID-19 molecular test done within 72 hours of travel as an alternative to providing proof of full vaccination. If travelers have not already started the vaccination process, or do not start soon, they risk not qualifying for travel as of November 30, 2021.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Stream 2 of Quebec Entrepreneur Program suspended<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\" translation-block\">The MIFI has extended the suspension of receipt of applications filed under Stream 2 of the Quebec Entrepreneur Program until December 31<sup>st<\/sup>, 2022. The program was originally scheduled to reopen on November 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2021.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Changes in the Temporary Foreign Worker Program<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>As part of the agreement reached with the federal government last August concerning the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP), Quebec submitted a list of occupations eligible for the promised flexibilities.
